monument on Vidova Gora, according to oral tradition, dates back to ancient times At that time, three pools for rainwater collection were created by placing waterproof clay into the recesses. The rainwater was mostly, as well as today, used to water the livestock and used by humans. <\/p><p>In addition to practical value, such ponds are also cultural and historical sites and crucial for biodiversity.<\/p><p>Around the ponds, on the green plateau, sheep are fed whilst a small herd of horses can be often encountered. This mountain was connected with the Old Slavic legends and deities in the folk tradition, such as Svevid. <\/p><p>Most of this central Bra\u010d plateau is covered by indigenous vegetation of Dalmatian black pine.
